Coach Malcolm Davis

We're  serving you as your competent and reliable partner in business. Our friendly and attentive staff is looking forward to assisting you reach all of your fitness goals!

Hi. My name is Malcolm and I am originally from Brooklyn, New York. I grew up in a very athletic family – my father, grandfather & cousin were all prize fighters, and my father ran track. Even as a young child, I was very active in sports. My childhood and teenage years were shaped by sports, and I was able to achieve some regional success in football.

With my college football career cut short due to injury and "lack of mental preparedness",  I've decided to give back and took an asst. coaching position at Brooklyn Technical High School.  My greatest challenge here was mentally and physically preparing athletes that were known more for academics, and outmatched in size, age, and playing experience.  These teams I've trained have been highly competitive, with over 12 playoff appearances, and a Bowl Championship in 2007.

After obtaining numerous nationally recognized certifications, I've become a Sports Conditioning Specialist and Fitness Coach (training people for over 16 years), and the athletes I've trained have become far more competitive.  Many of them have competed collegiately in football, men's & women's basketball and track & field, with a few competing professionally (Oday Aboushi [NY Jets] & Roger Knight [Saints] , NFL Europe, WNBA).

More importantly, its been the my responsibility to help athletes prepare mentally for sports, which has always proven to increase the likelihood for success!

My free time has been spent playing linebacker on the semi-professional level where I've met success as well.  I've been a Team Captain for the Queens Vikings (UFL-3 seasons) and the nationally ranked Kings Bay Knights (Independent, Gridiron Elite- 16 seasons),  having won championships with both teams!  I've finally decided to hang up the cleats after winning a Championship with the Bay Knights in May 2010 at the "old" age of 41.

I now spend my time operating Fitness Camps in Brooklyn, training athletes at Xaverian HS (2 quarterfinal & 2 semi-final apperance in my 4 seasons there), and running personal/small group training programs from training centers & clients' homes throughout the NYC, Long Is. & Westchester.  My "off hours" are shared with my beautiful family, traveling, cooking (I have a PhD in BBQ & grilling), and having fun!

Meet The Coaches

Coach Adolph Bellamy (CoachBellamy@fanfitnyc.com)

Hey. My name is Adolph and I was born in the Bronx, New York, and moved to Brooklyn at the age of four. My youth was spent playing outdoor games like tag and biking. During my last year of junior high I was exposed to the sport of football and wanted to play for an organized high school team after I graduated.

In my high school years I developed a love for both football and physical fitness and I decided to work hard so that I would continue my career in college and major in Exercise Science. I achieved regional success as an All-State football player and was awarded a scholarship at Southern Connecticut State University.

I graduated from SCSU in May 2011 under the major discipline of Athletic Training. The majority of my studies revolved around preventing and managing injuries that athletes endure. My studies also included Human Anatomy, Strength & Conditioning and Nutrition.

Throughout my four years I helped to rehabilitate numerous college athletes from sports-sustained injuries back to full health, often times exceeding the shape they were in prior to injury. The athletes I’ve worked with competed in football, men and women’s basketball and track and field, women’s lacrosse, and women’s gymnastics. I’ve also spent my summers interning under Coach Malcolm Davis assisting him with his boot camps.

I’m currently working on my doctorate in Physical Therapy and training athletes at Brooklyn Technical High School. My free time is spent having fun with my family, watching movies, and visiting my college friends.
